He says, “We began our journey on the auspicious date of Gandhiji’s 150th birthday at the Gandhi Memorial, where his ashes are held. We visited his museum in Mumbai and in Ahmedabad, the point where he started the Dandi March. In his Mann ki Bhat of 25 August, Prime Minister Modi encouraged each citizen to remember, visit and share the legacy of Gandhiji. I shared the whole thing live, online, so that the entire world could be inspired by Gandhiji and the diversity and open-mindedness of this, the world’s largest democracy. The world was watching.”
